There is a higher proportion of people with right neck pain than left neck pain because more people are right handed and it is in the use of the right hand and the positions people are working in that causes much of the pain that occurs.
Whether it is occupational with people working at their computers all day or operating machinery, if they are right handed the likelihood of right neck pain is more common.
Likewise left handed people will have a higher incidence of pain on the left side of their neck.
So what can you do to alleviate the pain?
I'm right handed and as expected I have had right neck pain as a common complaint that I lived with for years before getting a book that helped me to manage and eventually eliminate the pain.
That book was called Vitalism and I must say I wished I had it years earlier.
It has to be one of the best investments I've made for my health because not only did it help to eliminate the pain but the lack of pain helped to increase my energy levels and that has lead to a better quality for life for me.
I also take regular breaks from my work, just for a few minutes and I certainly get a whole lot more work done because I have more energy and obviously that has made me more productive.
Listen, if you've been suffering from right neck pain do something about it as soon as you can because the longer you suffer from it the harder it is to reverse the damage that you are doing to your neck.
You will feel like a new person when you're living pain free.
I hope this has helped a little with the understanding of why you might have right neck pain.
